prednisone cost without insurance And with that, just a blink of the eye, it is Fall! It has been a while since I posted, but it has been an exceptionally busy summer. Many things happening… great things! Here’s a little recap:
For my birthday, I was lucky to schedule a last minute trip to London for a much needed break! While in Londontown, I visited several concierge friends, explored famous hotels, took in a few sights, and yes, I shopped! Still loving my River Island purse–what can I say, I love a great deal! If you’ve never gotten out of town for your birthday, I highly recommend doing so! It takes the sting out of getting a year older!
Then in July it was time for our Les Clefs d’Or USA National Congress. This year it took place in New Orleans–and it was an incredible experience! If you’ve never been to NOLA, you have to go! The history, the heat, the culture, it is all so unique and truly unlike anything else in the United States. We had inspiring guest speakers, new friends were made, and I will forever have many memories of the short, yet impactful, time we had in New Orleans.
Then, August 1st, I moved! And for anyone that has moved… well, ever, knows how stressful that can be! But luckily, I found an apartment I LOVE, and my amazing mother came out to help. Seriously, it could not have been done without her! I worked nearly every day of the move, but the views from my new apartment made it worthwhile!
Shortly after my move, I was on-the-fly again! The lovely team in Vancouver, Les Clefs d’Or Canada BC Region, invited me up to speak at their monthly meeting. The hospitality these concierge showed was just out of this world! I was great at the airport and quickly whisked off on a bike ride around the Sea Wall. We explored on a water taxi, and got a bit of shopping in on Granville Island. The meeting was a blast where I was able to share my experiences with Ask A Concierge, the Andy Pongco Award, and my thoughts on the new social media age and it’s relevancy to the concierge profession. It was a quick two-day trip, but again, such a memorable experience that I will be forever thankful for!
Then the real month of August set in, and this month was all about WORK. With minimal days off, I was making a point to make the most of my limited time off with morning hikes, fun events, and spa days. In fact, it is the middle of September and I am still working on getting back my usual life-work-work balance (because I do work two jobs, let’s face it). It has been a rough couple of weeks, but hopefully soon you should be seeing more from me and Ask A Concierge. Things have been in the works all along, and more to come. Much, much more!
