If you haven’t heard of The Springs LA yet, well, let this be your grand introduction. As a concierge, I like to consider myself well informed about all places in LA, and when I came across The Springs in DTLA, I was thrilled! Honestly, there isn’t anything really like it… anywhere…that I know. It’s a Wellness Center, Yoga Studio, Juice Bar, Vegan Cafe, and Communal Work Space all rolled into one. Sounds incredible, right? Well it is.
In a city where everyone seems to have everything, the gift of “experiences” is king this holiday season. And what better to give than just an experience, but a NEW experience. This is where The Springs breathes new life into gift giving. I had the opportunity to try out their Luxury Reset Package, and it was amazing! Hands down this is my pick for an awesome Holiday Gift. BONUS: It’s affordable! For $175 you can give the gift of a half-day wind-down experience at a place your friends have not been to yet. It’s like a secret, yet not-so-secret, urban oasis. (Seriously, I’m already campaigning for them to open up another space in West Hollywood and Santa Monica!)
Back to the Luxury Reset Package. What’s included?
First you start off your Retreat with an hour yoga class. The studio is zen and appropriate for all experience levels. After class you head over to the Infrared Sauna where you relax for 30 minutes. Once you are nice and toasty, you then get to enjoy a 60-min Deep Tissue Massage (and let me tell you, this was one of the best massages I’ve ever had!). Of course, all of this comes with a cold-pressed juice and lunch. I had the kale salad and the forbidden fried rice (I couldn’t choose just one), paired with a lantern juice (a mix of pineapple, cucumber, cilantro, and jalapeño goodness). I felt so relaxed and rejuvenated, I ended up staying a few more hours in the communal work space of The Springs. I didn’t want to leave!
See why I’m in love?
So if you don’t have someone to give this incredible gift, I think it’s a perfect treat to gift yourself! After all, you’ve worked hard this year.
Happy Holidays from Ask A Concierge!
