Had a great time today representing The Los Angeles Concierge Association for our yearly “Day of Service!” This year we chose Habitat for Humanity, and we spent the day hammering, nailing, and laughing! Who knew building a house could be do fun? Well, my wrists are sore (probably from poor hammer form), but it was well worth it!
For an organization of professionals whose job is to help people on a daily basis, this was an incredible opportunity to get together with fellow concierge and give back to a different type of guest-a local in LA. We organized this with severeal other cities, all of us contributing our time to a charity of our choice. This year we had over 183 hours donated around the world! Now that’s power. #inservicethroughfriendship
